Managing Director, Ben Killeen has a great deal of experience in ICT networking & communication systems, IP electronic security systems and integrated intelligent IP technology. Ben has held positions for market leaders Avigilon corporation and as the Sales director for GVD Ltd, experts in IP technology and networking. He has developed an all-encompassing knowledge of emerging IP technology, intelligent networking and intelligent integrated security solutions. Ben has been responsible for many large network designs and managing IT networking projects throughout Ireland and the UK. Ben combines his technological expertise and commercial insight to manage and drive the strategic direction of SenSys Technology, with a focus on innovation, growth and ensuring each SenSys customer experiences the SenSys difference.
Ben is supported by a team of some of the industry’s best technical professionals who have experience in their respected fields of IT, Networking, Communication systems, Structured cabling & intelligent Electronic security. Ben enjoys business, entrepreneurship and travelling in his spare time.
Technical Director, Alan Hogan is responsible for the technical research, technical development and technical project management side of SenSys Technology. He has a background in IP networking and server hardware, having completed his BSc Honours in IT from I.T Tallaght. Alan previously held a technical position in GVD, a value-added distributor of security and I.T products where he provided technical support for many IT and Security installers throughout Ireland and the UK where he acted as first, second and third line support. Alan has been involved in some large projects in both Ireland and the UK which involved integrating many different products and converging different technologies onto the one network. Alan is the key technical contact for customers during project delivery and ensures all customer service and top-class support is offered through our support service; SenSys CARE.
Alan is a keen golfer and in his spare time likes to weightlift and keep fit in the gym.
Operations, Lauren Killeen manages the day to day operations of SenSys Technology. Lauren’s work involves organising projects, staff, orders, project schedules, and business procedures to ensure the smooth running of our office and projects ensuring staff efficiency’s and ready to give our customers the best service possible.
Lauren is also responsible for all health and safety and HR training and processes within the business, Lauren previously held positions in the IT industry with Zinon Cloud and GVD Ltd with a range of tasks from office coordination to internal technical sales. Lauren has a keen interest and good knowledge of IT networks which enables her to carry out her job to a high standard. When not elbows deep in business insurance or engineer schedules Lauren enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym and catching up with friends over a glass of wine.
Business Development Manager, Will Richards works closely with our customers designing network, communication and security systems. Will began his career with Arrow Communications in the UK and worked as head of sales with Blueface, Irelands leading VOIP (Voice over IP) SIP and hosted phone system company. Will’s day involves ensuring technical soundness of designs and network concepts while getting the best value sales proposals for his clients.
He also works on company presentations, tender writing and keeps a close working relationship with all his clients. Will is an expert in 3CX windows-based phone systems and so therefore works closely with all our 3CX clients. Will has a degree from the university of Sussex and in his spare time plays Rugby for Naas RFC. Will enjoys History as a subject and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Electronic Technology Technician, Tomas Sheridan has many years in delivering technical electronic solutions in IP & analogue communication systems. Tomas began his career in Electronic security and electrical systems and continued his education and working experience with IP networked systems and automation. Tomas is involved in the delivery and troubleshooting in many of our major commercial projects throughout Ireland.
Having delivered wireless network solutions, electronic IP CCTV, IP Access Control, IP Intruder alarm systems and automation systems. Tomas is no stranger to a power supply, IP address or a networked control board. He not only has the experience but carries all the accreditations in Avigilon CCTV, Paxton, Avigilon access control systems, Siemens Intruder alarm systems and has accreditations for fibre optic and copper structured cabling systems and standards. In his spare time Tomas enjoys spending time and socialising with friends and family.
IT and Communications Technician, Marek Kulka works on many of our IT Networking and IP Telephony projects. Marek has IT and computer programming experience having worked with IT support businesses, renewable energy network support and in the satellite business. Marek is advanced certified in Cisco Meraki Networking, Avigilon CCTV and Video Analytics and 3CX phone systems.
Marek is a key technical contact for many of our clients for technical support, technical advice or can be seen in many comms rooms throughout the country making changes to networks or phone systems. Marek is originally from Poland and has been living in Ireland with his family for over 15 years, he has a keen eye for professional photography and enjoys keeping fit in the gym.
Electrician & Electronic Technician, Hugh Donnelly has over 50 years of experience having served his time as an electrician and ran multiple electrical contracting and electronic security businesses over the past 40 years. Hugh is responsible and works on many of the electrical and security projects within SenSys Technology.
Hugh’s wealth of industry and product knowledge is invaluable to our clients and his experience shared with some of the younger team members. Over the past 12 years, Hugh has upskilled in IP and wireless network technologies and is currently delivering network and electrical installation all over Europe. Hugh is certified in copper and fibre optic cable installation and terminations, offering our clients the best network solutions possible. In this spare time when not spending time with his family, Hugh can be found on the boat angling or at the shooting range practicing his steady hand.
Structured Cabling Technician, Bart Kiernan is responsible and works on many of our first fix installations of structured copper and fibre optic cabling. A tradesman who takes pride in tidy cabling, neat terminations and professional comms cabinet layouts. Bart is a team player and a key team member to ensure the backbone network of the IP technology systems we provide is rock solid and scalable. Bart is trained in the installation, testing and certification of structured cabling systems. Bart works closely with the electronic and technology technicians on project installations.
When not elbows deep in a comms cabinet installation, Bart can be found practicing his rifle shooting or working on his motorcycle.
Electronic Technician, John McGrath works on project installation and support of IP electronic security systems to include IP CCTV, IP Access Control, Integrated Intruder Alarms and CCTV control rooms. John has spent the past 8 years working on electronic security systems in commercial and residential properties. John is a team player and works with team all over Ireland on commercial projects installing Avigilon, Milestone and Axis CCTV systems, HKC & Siemens intruder alarms and a range of access control systems. John also works on a range of automation systems.
John has a young family and is a fan of local GAA football and plays for his local GAA club.
